Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Supplement (Medigap) and Part D. We help you understand eligibility, dates and costs so you can choose with confidence.
What is Medicare and when can I enroll?
Medicare is federal health insurance for people 65 or older and some people with disabilities. Your initial enrollment period lasts 7 months: 3 before your 65th birthday month, that month and 3 after. From October 15 to December 7 each year you can review or change your plan. Signing up late for Part B can add 10% for each full 12 months of delay.
